Singelgebied is the name of the second largest red light district in Amsterdam. It lies next to the Singel canal and is far less glitzy than the main area though not as quiet as the tiny De Pijp in the south.   The map and photos were compiled between 2009 and 2012. This means in some pictures there is snow but in others it is warm and sunny.
In January 2012 I was finally able to confirm the numbers of the renovated rooms in Oude Nieuwstraat. They are part of no.24 and 'numbered' A, B, C, D. I was also able to confirm that Korsjespoortsteeg 8 is definitely closed. I do not know why.
